It's 6pm. You close the laptop and roll your shoulders, and there it is again — that stiff, heavy band across the back of your neck that's been building since about eleven this morning.

You tilt your head one way. Nothing. The other way. Nothing.

You've tried the stretches from that video. You've tried the pillow that was supposed to fix it. You've booked the massage, felt great for a day and a half, then watched it creep back before the week was out.

It's not an injury. It's not something you'd bother a doctor about. It's just the tax your body charges for nine hours a day with your head tipped forward — and nobody warns you that it compounds.

What we made instead

Restora isn't a gadget and it isn't a miracle. It's an inflatable collar that does one small thing well: it takes the weight of your head off your neck for ten minutes.

You sit down. You wrap it round. You squeeze the pump — gently, two or three times is plenty — and you feel your head lift, just slightly. Then you stop, close your eyes, and let ten minutes pass.

That's the whole thing. No app, no charging, no cable, no batteries. Just a bit of air and ten minutes that belong to you.

What people tell us

The word that comes up most is routine. It stops being a thing you're trying and becomes the thing you do while the kettle boils, or after the kids are down, or in the twenty minutes before bed when the house finally goes quiet.

One customer put it best: "I sit at a desk all day and by the evening my neck always feels locked up. This has become part of my routine now."

Before you order — one honest thing

Go slow with the pump the first time. Almost everyone over-inflates it, feels the pressure at their throat, and decides it isn't for them. Two or three squeezes. You're looking for a gentle lift under the jaw, never a squeeze around the neck. Get that right and it's genuinely lovely.

And it packs flat when you let the air out — which is why a lot of people end up taking it in the car, or on the train, or on a flight where their head keeps falling sideways.

Delivery and returns, plainly

Free UK delivery, 7-12 days. We ship direct from our supplier, which is why this is £34.99 and not the £70 the high-street version costs. If the wait doesn't suit you, we understand.

And if it arrives and it just isn't for you — send it back within 30 days and we'll refund you. No forms, no argument, no "have you tried". Just email us.

Restora is a comfort and relaxation product, not a medical device. If you have a diagnosed neck or spine condition, or pain that won't settle, please speak to your GP or physiotherapist first.

Got this for my partner who's on calls all day. She uses it while
watching TV. Simple thing but she's kept it up for a few weeks now,
which is more than I can say for the massage gun I bought last year.

Thought I’d get this for a change and found myself looking forward to
it at the end of each day. Just ten minutes lying down on the sofa.
It fits well; I have quite a thick neck and I had lots of adjustments
left in the strap. It took a few tries to figure out how much air I
wanted.

Work from home, at a laptop most of the day, and my neck is usually
stiff by the afternoon. First go I pumped it too much and it felt tight, which put me off a bit. Second time I did two squeezes and stopped, and that was completely different you just feel your head lift slightly and you can relax into it. Been doing ten minutes most evenings since.

I spend all day sitting at my desk, and every evening my neck
is always stiff. Wasn't sure how much this would help, but I've got
it in my daily schedule now.

Just a tip for those considering purchasing: Don't pump it up
too much. I did that initially and it was too tight around my neck.
Two or three pumps are sufficient. You want it to raise your head,
not squeeze your neck. Got the hang of it and it's really quite nice.

It also packs small, so I've brought it on road trips.

Purchased this product after working on my desk all day. It takes a while to set up since you have to adjust the pressure. Start slow when pumping it, two pumps should be enough. Once it’s set, it gives you a good stretch rather than a squeeze. I use it for ten minutes before bed every night now.
